WORLD WILDLIFE DAY
World Wildlife Day seeks to celebrate the world's plants and animals while raising awareness of issues that impact wildlife. Wildlife refers to all undomesticated native plants and animals of a region. The day also serves to highlight issues such as urbanization, poaching, pollution, destruction of wildlife habitat, and the ways that humans can contribute to conservation efforts.

International Day of Education History
The International Day of Education was proclaimed in December of 2018 by the UN General Assembly. The observance aims to bring awareness to the importance of education for peace and development. According to UNESCO, over 260 million children do not attend to school and over 600 million children and teenagers are unable to read or do basic math. The observance is celebrated every year on January 24th.

National Pie Day History
National Pie Day was first celebrated in the mid-1970s, when Charlie Papazian declared his own Birthday National Pie Day. According to the American Pie Council, Pies exist since the ancient Egyptians. The council yearly organizes a National Pie Championship, for amateurs and professional Pie Makers. National Pie Day is celebrated yearly on January 23rd.
